Direct Recruiting Solutions (DRS) Outplacement Programs are specifically designed to prepare professionals for successful employment in the current job market.
Our process offers comprehensive, high-touch services to help professionals develop personal career strategies that take them beyond the next position and closer to achieving long-term goals.
DRS offers the following services directly to the individual professional, or to employers funding outplacement assistance for their employees being downsized:
Our team members have extensive backgrounds in recruiting and career services, which adds a significant amount of value to each individual in their job search.
We begin with an introductory meeting to learn more about our clients and explain the details of their transition program. This is followed by a series of one on one personalized strategy sessions to discuss goals and action plans to help the individual launch their job search and put them in front of relevant job opportunities.
DRS follow a step-by-step process to take the employee through the transition program, and are there along the way to answer questions, keep the individual motivated and supported, and ensure that program goals are met n a timely fashion.
DRS has a team of Certified Resume Writers. Each writer is certified by the US Professional Association of Resume Writers, and has obtained the CPRW status (Certified Professional Resume Writer). The team is set up across a variety of roles and industries. This allows us to identify and assign the most appropriate resume writer for each customer. Every resume is custom, because every individual is different.
Each individual will receive a full Resume Package, which includes a custom resume, cover letter, thank you letter, and one page bio, ideal for loading on social networks.
Our team will assist in setting career goals, identify a range of possible career opportunities, uncover obstacles in the job search, offer professional referrals, and provide guidance and support through each step of the process.
We provide you with best practice techniques before, during and after the interview to make sure you stand out as the top contender the employer wants to extend an offer to.
DRS will also conduct simulated mock interviews and provide valuable advice and feedback. These interviews can be recorded and sent to the individual for later study and review. By participating in the mock interview process, individuals gain confidence in themselves and are better prepared when it comes time to speak with hiring managers.
We leverage our extensive network to identify a targeted list of Recruiters and Industry for our clients based on their preferences. This enables us to get our client’s resume in the hands of the people that specialize in their particular area of expertise. Our network is comprised of seasoned professionals with diverse backgrounds ranging from technical, engineering, finance, sales, executive search and more, as well as various verticals, from high tech to biotech, or aerospace to healthcare.
Over the past several years, there has been an explosion in social networking. These online and offline tools are available to assist people in networking. We believe this is an important aspect of the job search. With this in mind, we help our customers enroll in social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook, ZoomInfo, Jigsaw, etc. We can provide useful tips and can assist in creating the online registration for each individual. The goal is to jump-start their social network program – arming them with the latest and greatest tools available in the market. We’ll identify the networks that are most applicable for each employee based on their job role and/or industry – and ensure they are leveraging to the extent possible.
Perhaps the most differentiated element of our program is the Customized Job Leads service. Each of our customers will receive a personalized set of daily or weekly job leads – handpicked by our team.
This is a job program whereby relevant job leads are proactively found across the internet – job boards, corporate websites, niche job boards, blogs, career sites, recruiter sites, etc. - and sent to each client. These leads are considered “active”.
In addition to current “open” positions we supply each client with a list of the top 200-500 individual and company contacts within a given market and location. You will be given complete contact information for these resources along with training and strategy sessions on the best approach to contacting these resources. These leads are considered “passive”.
Career & Industry Networks
We believe that job seekers have to leverage as many tools as possible to secure their next role. Part of that is finding the right lead, part of it is being found, and part of it is leveraging the network of people you have around you to assist you in landing your next job.
In addition to social networking, our team will also identify offline networking opportunities. Given the individual’s location, our team will identify relevant networking groups, related organizations, and local events, and inform the individual accordingly.
DRS partners with national vendors for workshops on Leadership, Management, Communication and much more. These services are available at discounted rates to our clients.
By combining all of our services – clients are armed with a powerful arsenal to go after top positions in their field. Most importantly, we support you every step of the way to ensure your transition and job search is proactive and successful.
